No, I have mine on fitness foam tiles, on top of low-pile carpeting, and it is very stable.

Our pull-up station is made from high-quality steel, ensuring its durability. It is resistant to breaking from exposure to rain and sunlight. However, to maximize its lifespan, we recommend using it indoors. Prolonged exposure to the elements can cause metal products to deteriorate.
